About us

Language nerds, worldbuilders, and phonology enthusiasts

We aim to teach about various existing conlangs and how our members can construct their own conlangs on their own time.

Mission Statement

Our club looks to teach any skill level to have fun creating conlangs!

As an ultimate goal, we are also looking to strive to create a conlang as a collaborative effort with our club members, creating our own unique system of communication. As a tradition, our organization's conlang shall be passed down through iterations of the club, undergoing evolution through the contributions of new members throughout the course of this organization's existence.

What's a conlang, anyway?

Conlangs are languages constructed by a person or group, rather than a natural language, natlang for short, that develops through the course of human history. Conlangs can be spoken, written, signed, conveyed through music, or transmitted through other various modalities, as can natlangs.

If you've seen Tolkien's elvish or Star Trek's Klingon, you've seen a conlang!
